You’re right for this opportunity if you enjoy:
  • Taking deep dives into technical topics, learning fast, and writing in easily digestible prose
  • Cracking the code for user enablement through clear communication
  • Delivering a superlative user experience
Your day-to-day will include:
  • Exercising deep knowledge of our product to write about it for a variety of audiences with varying technical backgrounds
  • Working with the Product and Engineering teams to plan, author, and deliver documentation aligned with the product’s feature and release roadmaps
  • Working closely with data scientists and other AI/ML subject matter experts to understand technical details required for documentation
  • Working closely with the Customer Success and Account Support teams to ensure onboarding and enablement needs are consistently met
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 100,000/year. Striveworks’ total compensation package includes a competitive base salary, annual performance-based equity grants, and a lucrative yearly cash bonus.
This position offers a fully remote work environment, or you can work hybrid/on site at our office in northwest Austin, TX.

The Right Fit

We spend a lot of time during our hiring process talking about shared values.
Why? We passionately believe that fostering an environment where people can self-actualize and pursue greatness is the best way to achieve our individual and collective goals.
What does this mean for you? We want to create an environment where you can thrive and achieve your goals, where you know the team shares your goals, and where you make and accept decisions for the team with humility. At Striveworks, we want your say/do ratio to be 1, and we want you to know that being part of a top-tier team means that there is no smartest person in the room. If that makes sense, we’re already on the same page.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
  • 3+ years of technical writing experience
  • Experience producing user enablement docs, knowledge base articles, and technical FAQs
  • Experience writing release notes for a SaaS platform
  • Experience contributing to technical docs
  • Experience with data-driven practices to understand in-app documentation consumption and enablement patterns
  • Bachelor’s degree or similar experience in writing, communications, or computer science

The Wish List

We’re very interested in candidates who possess the above qualifications, and we appreciate and consider the addition of:
  • Experience supporting the field of machine learning or artificial intelligence
  • Experience with Markdown or writing documentation as code
  • Experience with the intersection of documentation and training
  • Experience in writing SDK, API, and platform documentation
  • Experience with writing training materials
  • Experience with video training content scripting
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology

  • Parental leave
