We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help us build and scale data systems that process petabytes of data to provide important insights to our teams. In this role, you’ll be on a team that manages the entire ETL & data warehousing process, making it easier for data scientists, analysts, and engineers to use data and drive value. You’ll also mentor team members, and your work will have a direct impact on millions of users around the world.
In particular, you will:
Develop and maintain data pipelines for the site to operate.
Ingest and maintain data assets.
Design, build, and launch new data models in production using DBT.
Collaborate with Data Analysts, Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and key product stakeholders to define the best data solutions.
Build data platforms for analysts and product managers to use and get data insights.
Requirements
What you'll bring
BS degree in STEM
Proficiency in Python and SQL for building data pipelines
Experience with data warehousing tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.) and transform tools (DBT, SQLMesh)
Experience mentoring and leading other data engineers and analysts
You have worked with cloud providers like AWS or GCP
Bonus points:
Knowledge of data governance best practices
Experience with DBT and data modeling

The Base Salary range for this position is 180,000 USD. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position.
