About You
You’re a freelance designer who loves ad designs. You'll create a variety of ads for startups and ecommerce brands.
**
Responsibilities:
  • Design a variety of ad creatives for display ads on Google and social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.). Ads can be both static and animated GIFs/short video ads.
  • Develop creative concepts and visual strategies that align with campaign goals and target audience demographics.
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing team, copywriters, and strategists to ensure design cohesion and campaign effectiveness.
  • Iterate on designs based on performance data, A/B testing results, and feedback to continuously optimize ad performance.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and platform-specific technical requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience (3+ years) as an ad designer, graphic designer, or similar role, with a portfolio of high-performing paid ad designs.
  • Demonstrable expertise in creating designs that have driven measurable results (e.g., higher click-through rates, lower cost per acquisition).
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software: we use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) along with Figma. Experience with animation software (e.g., Adobe After Effects) is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of digital advertising platforms and their respective design specifications and best practices.
  • Strong grasp of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate marketing objectives into effective visual solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design choices and rationale.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and capable of working independently in a remote freelance capacity.
