About the Role
As Prepared Hero embarks on a new chapter, we're looking for a visionary and strategic leader to join us as the Head of Product Development. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of Prepared Hero, steering the ideation, creation, and enhancement of products that resonate with our vision of preparedness and reliability. This role will be instrumental in building systems and frameworks that streamline and innovate our product catalog, ensuring we stay ahead in the DTC ecommerce space.

Job Description & Responsibilities
  • Lead the team in product innovation, overseeing the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch, including the ideation, development, and refinement of Prepared Hero's unique offerings.
  • Assemble and nurture a stellar product development team, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and relentless improvement.
  • Incorporate insights from various departments (marketing, operations, customer service) to craft strategies that bolster and diversify our product range.
  • Drive our strategy in creation and execution of detailed product roadmaps, balancing long-term vision with immediate needs, and ensuring alignment with Prepared Hero’s strategic objectives.
  • Integrate market research, trends, and competitive analysis into product planning to ensure Prepared Hero's offerings stay relevant and competitive.
  • Define, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics to gauge product success, making data-driven decisions that fuel improvement.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership and management experience leading an Industrial Design product team or similar within an Ecommerce or DTC brand environment.
  • Proficiency in project management, including OKR methodologies.
  • A background in Industrial Design.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Deep understanding of the market dynamics unique to DTC brands.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a related field (e.g., Industrial Design, Business, Marketing, Engineering).
