We are seeking a highly skilled Copywriter deeply familiar with sports cards, trading card games, and the collectibles market. As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging copy for multi-format needs (print, email, web, video, experiential) amongst a specialized creative team within marketing. You will need to have at least three years of experience in a similar role and be able to lead the development of effective creative concepts and copy that resonate with our target audience.

The ideal candidate will be local to our Santa Ana, CA headquarters, but fully remote candidates who can travel will also be considered.

What you’ll do:

Develop creative concepts and copy for marketing campaigns and multi-format needs, applying collector insights to the development of all campaign work.

Effectively communicate our brand's value proposition and key messages, ensuring both collector and cultural relevance.

Collaborate with Creative Designers to bring ambitious ideas to life and ensure that our copy and design are aligned and consistent.

Work with cross-functional teams to understand the needs of our target audience and develop messaging that connects and inspires.

Conduct research and analysis to develop insights into our target audience's interests, behaviors, and motivations.

Continuously improve our copywriting processes and methodologies to drive greater effectiveness and efficiency.

Who you are:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

At least three years of experience in a copywriting role, preferably in advertising and marketing campaigns.

Strong portfolio showcasing your creative work and writing skills, with a focus on campaigns that drove results.

Excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling and engaging copy that resonates with our target audience and makes new products, features, and functionality approachable to everyday collectors.

Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience with SEO is a plus.

Familiarity with the collectors' market, including sports cards, trading card games, and other collectibles is a must.

The salary range for this position is 164,867. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
