Work Setup and Compensation

  • As a freelancer you’ll work entirely remotely, allowing you to log in from anywhere and enjoy a flexible working arrangement that suits you
  • You’ll report to our Chief Marketing Officer
  • You’ll work approximately 15 hours per week
  • You’ll be paid £28 per hour
  • The contract is limited to 6 months

As a Social Media Freelancer at Paired you’ll play an important role in the growth of our brand – using all things social to drive awareness, engagement, and brand love. The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission to improve the happiness of couple relationships and want to transform that passion into fun and engaging content on Instagram while supporting other channels such as TikTok.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the social media strategy to support overall brand (and imminent rebrand) plans, with a focus on Instagram
  • Grow our audience, brand awareness, and engagement
  • Analyse performance and optimise our content plan based on specific KPIs
  • Develop and lead the content calendars for existing social channels in line with the overarching brand calendar
  • Nurture and engage with our community, to help drive brand advocacy, including extended engagement
  • Create eye-catching assets with the support of our creative team and work with relevant influencers to drive UGC
  • Take responsibility for all social media brand partnerships and competitions on Instagram
  • Research current benchmarks and trends on social media to inform our content strategy
  • Support the wider marketing team with the implementation of digital communication, influencer strategies, as well as collaborating with our TikTok Manager

Requirements

  • 3-4 years experience in a social media role
  • Proven success in delivering high growth organically across social channels, and managing an Instagram account for a brand with over 100k followers
  • Experience creating engaging social media content, including written, visual, and video content
  • In-depth knowledge of social platforms, their organic algorithms, and current trends
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva, Figma or Sketch to create fun and visually engaging content
  • Excellent copywriting skills to craft compelling captions and posts
  • Ability to combine creativity and analysis to drive successful campaigns
  • Passionate about our mission to expand the reach of relationship care to more people

Hiring Process

  • Initial Call - Danielle Gamage (Senior Social Media Manager) will reach out to have a conversation about your background and the role
  • Task - We'll send you a task to complete at home assessing your social media skills which you'll present to our CMO and Danielle
  • Team Interviews - The final step involves a team interview with different team members you will be working with on a day-to-day basis
