What You’ll Do
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to expand and retain your portfolio of partners in alignment with Mainstay's business growth goals
  • Proactively manage partner relationships to identify potential issues, spot opportunities for upselling, and enhance partner satisfaction and retention
  • Cultivate strong relationships with partners to grow your network and expand brand awareness of Mainstay in the industry
  • Oversee all aspects of managing the Mainstay platform for assigned partners, ensuring alignment with partner goals and use cases
  • Track and report on partnership performance using data and metrics to identify improvement areas for partners and internal stakeholders
  • Lead negotiations and discussions to expand or renew partnership agreements that align with the organization's goals
  • Maintain accurate partner data and records in Mainstay's systems
What You’ll Have
  • 5+ years of relationship management and a proven track record of driving growth and revenue retention
  • Partner relationship management: Build strong relationships at multiple levels to deliver partner-centric solutions
  • Strategic mindset: Identify future possibilities and translate them into strategic actions
  • Influences people: Communicate a compelling strategy to motivate others to action
  • Collaboration: Build partnerships with others to meet shared objectives
  • Proactive problem-solving: Identify and address potential issues before they escalate
  • Retention optimization: Foster strong allegiance among partners, reducing churn, and positively impacting overall lifetime value
  • Communication and negotiation: Effectively convey value propositions, address concerns, and negotiate agreements
  • Upselling and revenue growth: Recognize opportunities for upselling within existing partner relationships
  • Bonus points for higher ed experience and edtech experience

The minimum pay for this role is 86,000 depending on the level you’re hired at. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years & depth of experience, and some role dependent factors that can include certifications and software expertise. We also hope you’ll consider and be open to what else we provide outside of our base compensation.
