WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead and guide an ambitious team of reporters and editors
- Work with leadership to refine and implement a vision for Vox’s coverage, and be ultimately responsible for making sure the coverage meets a high threshold of excellence
- Ensure that the team is offering clarity on the most important policies, controversies, or news moments
- Help identify how to bring discipline and deliberation to story assignments
- Work with the audience team, audio, video, and other editors across the Vox newsroom to elevate the work across mediums
- Support the work of the writers and editors on the team

- A deep understanding of and interest in climate issues, biodiversity, and science
- A passion for helping a general audience understand the climate crisis and its impact on people’s lives
- An ambitious appetite for strong, distinctive work

This job is remote. PAY TRANSPARENCY
The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of this posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
