What is the role?

Teachable is seeking a passionate and results-driven Performance Marketing Manager to join our growth marketing team. As a Performance Marketing Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our in-house paid media channels, igniting customer acquisition and skyrocketing subscription growth. We're seeking someone with a proven track record in optimizing paid media channels, whether it's in an agency setting or at a SaaS growth-stage tech company. If you're agile, resourceful, and have a burning desire to crush goals, then this role was made for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Unleash your genius to craft and execute mind-blowing paid media strategies across a range of channels, including search engines, social media platforms, display networks, and retargeting campaigns.
  • Dive deep into keyword research, audience segmentation, and competitor analysis to optimize campaign performance and leave your competitors gasping for air.
  • Create and manage high performing paid advertising campaigns, ensuring laser-focused targeting, budget allocation, and jaw-dropping ad creative optimization.
  • Keep a watchful eye on campaign performance, analyzing the data like a pro and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics that make the competition tremble.
  • Channel your inner growth hacker to spot opportunities for campaign optimization and expansion, dropping data-driven recommendations and implementing killer A/B testing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with our Creative team to develop electrifying ad content and landing pages that ignite conversions and leave our Creator audience eager to learn more.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by staying in the loop with industry trends, emerging platforms, and the sexiest best practices in performance marketing.
  • Sync up with our cross-functional superheroes—product, marketing, and data—to ensure our marketing efforts align perfectly with our business goals and conquer the universe. Stay in tune with changes to ad platforms' algorithms, policies, and ad formats, adjusting strategies with ease and blowing the competition out of the water.
  • Develop and manage performance marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize spending to maximize campaign performance and ROI.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on campaign performance, KPIs, and other relevant metrics. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to drive decision-making and strategy.

About You:

  • 2-3+ years of experience conquering paid media channels, preferably in an agency or SaaS growth-stage tech company.
  • You've left a trail of shattered goals in your wake.
  • A proven track record of driving measurable results through performance marketing campaigns.
  • Your accomplishments are legendary.
  • Expert knowledge of various digital advertising platforms that will make mere mortals tremble—Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and programmatic display are your domains.
  • An analytical mindset that can dissect data like a ninja and wield reporting tools with finesse.
  • Strong understanding of A/B testing and its role in performance marketing, aiming to optimize campaign effectiveness and performance by comparing multiple variations to identify the most successful approach.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills are so smooth, they leave others swooning.
  • A self-motivated superhero who thrives on independence and has a knack for meeting deadlines with style.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field will make your application shine brighter than a supernova.
