Customer Success Specialist – Shopify Themes Full Time

Style Hatch is looking for a Customer Success Specialist to join our team. The Customer Success Specialist role is both highly challenging and rewarding. Every day you will have a chance to help Shopify merchants around the world grow their online stores with our premium themes. You will be faced with questions where it will take research to find elegant answers, and at the same time find ways to simplify, document and optimize common answers. Phenomenal service has been one of the cornerstones of Style Hatch’s growth since we started in 2010.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent written communication skills to thoughtfully explain technical details to sometimes non-technical customers. We want your friendliness, unique personality, patience, and empathy to take center stage as you’re answering every question. You will be inspired daily by entrepreneurs and small businesses, and you are encouraged to go above and beyond to be helpful.

What we need from you…

  • A genuine love for helping people
  • Hands-on experience with customer service
  • Know your way around the Shopify platform
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, Liquid, CSS and JavaScript
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Ability to simplify complexity with easy-to-follow guides
  • Empathy to help you turn frustrated customers into fans
  • Resourcefulness and creative drive to find answers

What we would be thrilled if you have…

  • Interest or experience in running a business—even as a kid
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, Liquid, CSS and JavaScript
  • Experience working with themes on Shopify or other platforms
  • Background in writing help documentation and recording video tutorials
